What is a PNR?
A PNR (Passenger Name Record) is the booking record created by an airline distribution system (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo/Travelport, or by a ticketing platform such as Travellink. It holds data like flights, passengers and the record locator, usually in a dense format full of codes and abbreviations.
What is an airline PNR?
It's the same PNR concept, in the specific context of a flight booking: the record holds the flights, passengers and record locator for that booking in the airline or the GDS used to issue it.
What does DecodeTravel do?
It reads the text of a PNR pasted by the user and builds an organized travel itinerary — with date, flight, airline, departure and arrival times, and actual flight duration — ready to paste into an email, copy for WhatsApp, download as an image, or send by email directly from the page.
Which systems are supported?

Is the PNR sent to a server?
Not during decoding itself: parsing runs entirely in the browser. The PNR only leaves your machine if you click "Send by email" (to build the email you asked to send) or "Let us know" to report a decoding error. Beyond that, only unrecognized airport/airline codes are sent automatically, never the full PNR. See more in Processing and privacy.
How do I turn a PNR into an itinerary?
Copy the PNR text from Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo/Travelport or Travellink, paste it into DecodeTravel's text box, and the formatted itinerary appears automatically, ready to copy or send.
Can I use DecodeTravel in the browser?
Yes, DecodeTravel is a web tool — no installation required, it works in any modern browser.
